MY CARE PHILOSOPHY

I have learned one of the most important aspects of caring for patients is listening.

Letter to my patients

I’m starting the next chapter of my practice and I’d like to invite you to join me. First thing, I’m not retiring. I am cutting back the number of days I go in to the office, but I’m still passionate about caring for my patients.

I began my medical career as a surgeon and part of being a good surgeon is knowing that surgery isn’t the answer for every condition. Over the years, I have watched and learned as medicine has changed and grown, offering new and better treatments for every foot ailment. I have been fortunate to be at the forefront of several of these advancements participating in studies for low level laser treatments, designing implants, training surgeons, and developing regenerative medicine protocols that delay or in many cases negate the need for surgery.

Regenerative medicine is the focus of my new office. It allows me to treat the problem that is causing the pain, instead of just treating the symptoms. These therapies stimulate the body’s natural healing process to repair chronically damaged tissue. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my patients respond to these treatments.

I have a new phone number, (480) 900-3434 and will be seeing patients in Scottsdale and Gilbert. In addition to a new location, I will no longer be in-network with any insurance plans. This means the office will not be submitting claims to your insurance carrier, all of my services will be payment at time of service, and you no longer need a referral.

Feel free to call or email my staff at drkerryzang@gmail.com with any questions or to make an appointment. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Regenerative Medicine

"In the past, doctors were reactive to problems, and we treated symptoms,” says Dr. Kerry Zang. “Now, with regenerative medicine, we can actually treat the problem that is causing the pain.” Regenerative medicine is one of the most promising and safe alternatives to managing chronic foot pain caused by injury, previous surgery, plantar fasciitis, or arthritis.

“This therapy stimulates the body's own natural healing process to repair chronically damaged tissue,” explains Dr. Zang. “This is exciting because patients who’ve been living with foot pain that have had treatment that didn’t work, now have a chance of feeling better.”
